A man in his early twenties is brought into the ER, his pulse unstable, no one there to speak for him. As they open his shirt to begin resuscitation, they find three words tattooed across his sternum: Do Not Resuscitate.

What follows unfolds over ten uninterrupted minutes, in a single continuous shot. Ten minutes in which a doctor must do something no protocol has prepared her for: read a stranger. Decide whether those words are a will or a gesture. Whether skin is enough to stand as a document.
