A versatile cinematographer, he has been working in the film and advertising industry for 30 years. Creative and innovative, he is continually experimenting with traditional and contemporary techniques for achieving the optimal cinematic effects. He began his career at age 16, following in the footsteps of his father Hans Bürmann, a legendary Spanish-German filmmaker, with whom he worked on a number of successful feature films such as Tesisand Abre los ojos, by Alejandro Amenábar.

 

Some of his most recent film work includes the feature films Frágil Equilibrio, by Guillermo García López (2017 Goya Award for Best Documentary), Con quien viajas, by Hugo Martín Cuervo and the documentary mini series Atlánticas, by Guillermo García López and Pedro González Khühn.
